Eos

39 knots is the top speed on Eos's spec sheet, and the hull is built to reach it: a sport yacht from Riva, not a cruiser wearing sport styling. Riva built this 68-metre in 2022, and her specification is built around pace rather than range.

Build and provenance

She is built in GRP on a monohull sport platform, the construction specified for this model. At 5.3 metres of beam and a 1.8 metre draft, her proportions sit narrow for her length, in keeping with a hull drawn for speed rather than volume.

Layout and accommodation

Eos is rated for 16 guests aboard, with 6 berths across 3 cabins for those staying the night. That gap between day capacity and sleeping capacity marks her as an open sports yacht: the deck and cockpit carry the day, and the cabins below are for the night only.

Performance and engineering

Two MAN V12 engines at 1,650 hp apiece take Eos to a 34-knot cruise and 39 knots at the top, output that sits closer to a performance boat than a motor yacht. She carries 600 litres of water aboard, enough for a day out without a return to the dock.
