Torsa Motor Yacht
About Torsa
Four cabins for eight guests, looked after by a crew of three, is the ratio that sets the pattern for Torsa. Princess completed her in 2023 as a flybridge motor yacht on a monohull.
Build and provenance
Princess built Torsa in 2023 as a flybridge motor yacht on a monohull, with GRP through the hull and superstructure. Her beam is 6.62 metres, 22 feet, and at 104 gross tons on a 29-metre length, her volume runs leaner than her length alone might suggest, favouring efficiency over sheer enclosed space.
Layout and accommodation
Four cabins sleep eight guests aboard Torsa, with a crew of three in support, close to one crew member for every three guests. On a flybridge motor yacht, the upper deck adds a second, open-air living level above the saloon, so the day can move between an enclosed main deck and an open one above without leaving the boat. Four cabins for eight guests works out to two guests a cabin on average, a spacious split rather than a tightly packed one.
Performance and engineering
Torsa cruises at 24 knots, the same figure as her listed top speed, so the pace she is marketed at and the pace she can actually hold are one and the same. No engine make or output is listed for her, which leaves gross tonnage, 104, and length, 29 metres, as the numbers a buyer has to plan a passage around.
Where she lies and how to see her
Torsa lies in Palma, in Spain. Boatcrowd sets up the viewing and is there for it, and once an offer on her is accepted, we take her through survey and sea trial before the sale is finalised.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
