About Hang Loose

A 24-knot cruise, matched by her top speed, is the number that defines Hang Loose. Princess built her in 2021 as a flybridge motor yacht on a monohull, and she comes to market today as a used yacht with that pace as her clearest signature. For a buyer, matching cruise and maximum speed means what is quoted on the specification sheet is exactly what she gives under way, with nothing held in reserve.

Build and provenance

Princess built Hang Loose in 2021 as a flybridge motor yacht on a monohull, with GRP through the hull and superstructure. Her beam is 6.77 metres, 22 feet, and at 135 gross tons on a 29-metre length she carries proportionally more beam and volume than her length figure alone would suggest.

Layout and accommodation

Eight guests are accommodated across three cabins, with a crew of four looking after them, close to a two-to-one guest-to-crew ratio. The flybridge deck extends the living space above the saloon, giving a second, open-air level to where the day can be spent.

Performance and engineering

She cruises at 24 knots and her top speed is the same 24, so a buyer reading the specification sheet is reading exactly how she performs, not a number reserved for calm water alone. No engine specification accompanies her listing, so speed and gross tonnage, 135, are the figures to plan a passage around.

Where she lies and how to see her

Hang Loose lies in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. Boatcrowd arranges the viewing and attends it in person, and once an offer on her is accepted, we schedule survey and sea trial before the sale moves further.

Buying Costs

Survey
A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
Registration and flag
She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
VAT and import
Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
Running costs
Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
