About Lady M
Four cabins and five heads is a layout built so guests are never queuing for a bathroom, and Lady M carries exactly that specification across her 85 feet. Princess built her in 2020 as a Y85, and the arrangement below decks is where that thinking shows most clearly.
Build and provenance
She is a Y85, a flybridge motor yacht on a fibreglass monohull that was completed in 2020. Twin Kohler generators back up her main engines, and a Garmin electronics package with twin display screens sits at the helm, the sort of specification a buyer expects to find already fitted rather than added afterwards.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across four cabins, and the layout runs to five heads, so no cabin shares a bathroom down a corridor. Crew have their own separate quarters, keeping service away from the guest decks, and the salon carries a lift-up television with Naim audio piped throughout the boat.
Performance and engineering
Twin 1,900 hp MAN V12 engines give her a 25-knot cruise and 31 knots at full throttle, enough to cover real distance in a day without labouring. Sleipner stabilisation and bow and stern thrusters make her steady at rest and easy to dock, and a Spot Zero watermaker, 2,906 gallons of fuel and 396 gallons of fresh water give her the range to stay out for days at a time.
On deck and at anchor
On deck and at anchor, the swim platform lowers hydraulically to the water, opening a level step from the cockpit to the sea for swimming and for tender access.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
