About Elevation
Running Elevation yourself or handing her to a crew are both built into her design. Prestige delivered her in 2016 as a 23-metre flybridge motor yacht with four staterooms and a separate crew berth aft, so either arrangement suits her layout without alteration. She lies in Fort Lauderdale, in the United States.
Build and provenance
She is a monohull motor yacht with a fibreglass hull, and her engines were upgraded with powerful MAN engines after delivery from Prestige. At 23 metres with a beam of 5.5 metres, she carries more interior volume than her length alone suggests.
Layout and accommodation
Four staterooms sleep eight guests, led by a private master, and a separate crew quarters aft lets an owner bring on paid crew without giving up any guest cabin. Large windows light the salon and dining areas, and living space continues out onto the flybridge, foredeck and aft deck.
Performance and engineering
Two 2,400 hp MAN V8 engines drive her, upgraded from the standard fit and paired with an engine room laid out for owner-operators as much as professional crews. A hydraulic swim platform lowers to the water at the stern, for tenders and toys without needing a crane.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, sunpads give a place to lie in the sun, and the hydraulic swim platform doubles as a boarding step for swimming, tenders and toys alike.

Elevation lies in Fort Lauderdale, in the United States. Boatcrowd sets up viewings and is present for each one, and after an offer is accepted, we schedule the survey and the sea trial that follow.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
