Crazy Diamond Motor Yacht
About Crazy Diamond
Ease at anchor is the detail that matters most to an owner who actually lives aboard, and Crazy Diamond has it built in. Monte Carlo delivered the 69-foot flybridge motor yacht in 2016, fitted with a zero speed stabilisation system that keeps her still whether she is moving or moored. That is the sort of feature an owner notices on every trip, not just the big one.
Build and provenance
She is a flybridge motor yacht on a composite hull, styled by Nuvolari Lenard both inside and out, part of Monte Carlo Yachts' flybridge range.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across four cabins, two fitted with a double bed and two with twin beds, and every cabin has its own bathroom. The master suite sits amidships, its round windows bringing in natural light, with a separate seating area and a walk-in wardrobe. A second cabin is finished to VIP standard with its own double bed and bathroom, so the two main cabins both feel like a primary suite rather than one dominating the other.
Performance and engineering
At sea she cruises at 22 knots and reaches 29 knots flat out, figures suited to coastal running rather than long crossings. A beam of 5.45 metres and a draft of 1.8 metres keep her manageable in the marinas she is likely to visit, and her tanks hold 4,000 litres of fuel and 800 litres of fresh water, enough for several days without a refuel.
Where she lies and how to see her
Crazy Diamond lies in Antibes, France. A viewing is arranged through Boatcrowd, and we are on hand throughout it. If an offer follows, the survey and sea trial come next, before the sale completes.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
