Two 1,600 hp Caterpillar C32 engines and a Seakeeper 16 gyroscopic stabiliser sit at the heart of Fine Seas-Onings, a 72-foot flybridge cruiser built for owners who want a yacht that runs smooth as much as it runs strong. Marquis delivered her in 2018, and she is offered for sale from Marina del Rey.
Build and provenance
Marquis built Fine Seas-Onings in fibreglass, a flybridge motor yacht on a monohull form. Her interior design is credited to Valentina Zannier of the Nuvolari-Lenard studio in Venice, and oak hardwood, a Brazilian cherry sole and Italian leather furnishings carry that European hand through the accommodation.
Layout and accommodation
Four cabins sleep eight guests, with the full-beam master finished in oak cabinetry, deep-pile carpet and a bathroom faced in Emperador marble tile. A dining table for six sits off the galley, and granite counters and Cantalupi lighting from Viareggio carry the same finish through the working spaces.
Performance and engineering
Her two 1,600 hp Caterpillar C32 engines sit behind a Seakeeper 16 gyroscopic stabiliser and a Kohler generator, a combination built for a settled ride at the dock as much as under way. Twin fuel tanks hold 1,300 gallons between them, with 200 gallons of fresh water aboard.
On deck and at anchor
Foredeck seating and the flybridge itself give her two settings for time outdoors, underwater lights extend the evening at anchor, and Starlink keeps her connected wherever she lies. A watermaker aboard tops up fresh water beyond what the tanks alone carry.

Fine Seas-Onings lies in Marina del Rey. We set up viewings on the water there and are on hand for them, and a survey and sea trial follow once an offer has been accepted.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
