About Spica
A buyer can step aboard Spica before ever making an offer: she already charters through Boatcrowd from a base in Mykonos, so a week on the water can come before any survey. Ferretti built her in 2023, and she lies for sale in Athens.
Build and provenance
She is Hull 10 of Ferretti's 1000 series, a flybridge motor yacht on a monohull, built to the clean, heavily glazed profile the yard has drawn the whole series around.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins, one of them an on-deck full-beam suite with its own ensuite, a layout that spares whoever takes it the stairs down to the lower deck. A crew of six run the boat from their own quarters, enough hands to keep service smooth at a full complement. The flybridge and an aft beach area extend the living space outdoors, with a bow seating area finishing the top deck.
Performance and engineering
Cruising at 21 knots and reaching 28 knots at full throttle, she is built for hopping along the coast rather than for long open-water passages.
Where she lies and how to see her
Spica lies in Athens, though her charter programme is run from Mykonos and covers Greece. Boatcrowd shows her in person to any serious buyer, and once an offer is accepted a survey and sea trial follow before handover. Because she is already in our fleet, a buyer who wants to know her before committing can book a week aboard, with her charter page carrying the calendar.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
