Epic Motor Yacht
About Epic
Low engine hours are the first thing worth knowing about Epic. Ferretti delivered her in 2021, and the light use since then means a buyer takes on a yacht that has barely started her working life. She is a thirty-metre Ferretti flybridge motor yacht, and she lies in Antibes.
Build and provenance
She was built at an Italian yard and delivered in 2021, with no refit recorded since. Her interior carries premium materials and bespoke joinery throughout. Low engine hours since delivery are what a surveyor reads first on a yacht offered used.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins, arranged with a full-beam owner's suite on the main deck, two VIP cabins and two twin cabins, each with its own en-suite bathroom. A crew of two runs the boat, working from quarters kept separate from the guest decks, so service stays out of sight until it is needed.
Performance and engineering
Two MTU engines, each rated at 2,638 hp, give Epic a cruising speed of 18 knots and a top speed of 25 knots, enough for a fast return leg when the afternoon plan changes. At a 6.6-metre beam and a 2.3-metre draught, she carries her power without needing a deep-water berth.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, the flybridge is the amenity worth noting: an open upper deck that gives Epic a second living space above the saloon for a day at anchor.
Where she lies and how to see her
Epic lies in Antibes, France. We arrange every viewing in person and are there for it, and once an offer is accepted a surveyor and a sea trial follow before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
