Solace finished her refit at Pendennis in 2025, and that changes what a Feadship built in 2005 actually is today. She was delivered at 57 metres, and the work at Pendennis extended her story rather than closing it. For a buyer, a hull carried this far into a completed refit is the kind of provenance a surveyor wants to see before anything else.
Build and provenance
Feadship delivered Solace in 2005 as a custom-built, 57-metre displacement motor yacht on a monohull, and her Pendennis rebuild reached well beyond cosmetics. The yard extended her hull, added a new sauna, gave her a full repaint and an entirely new HVAC system, and completed a Lloyd's 20-Year Special Survey alongside a full mechanical overhaul. She is classed with Lloyd's Register, and her interior was fully refitted with Vickers Studio behind the new design. A Lloyd's 20-Year survey finished within the same rebuild is one less unknown for a buyer at survey time.

Performance and engineering
Solace cruises at 12.5 knots and carries a 5,400 nautical mile range at that speed, engineered for long stretches between ports rather than short coastal hops. The rebuild added a new forward sonar for remote-water passages, and the same works brought her up to Polar Code compliance. For a buyer, this is a yacht set up to cross oceans, not just anchor off them.
