Extra X145 Global Motor Yacht
About Extra X145 Global
An entire deck reserved for one person sets the tone for the Extra X145 Global: her owner has a private deck of their own, apart from the twelve guests the rest of the yacht sleeps across six cabins. Extra Yachts has her due out of the Italian yard in 2029, built in steel with an aluminium superstructure to a design by Studio Agon.
Build and provenance
She is a 44-metre, 499-gross-tonne motor yacht with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, styled by Studio Agon and built to RINA certification for open-water service. Her hull is described as dual-mode. A 9.1-metre beam and a 3-metre draught complete the platform Extra Yachts is building in Italy for a 2029 delivery.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests sleep across six cabins, with the owner's deck kept apart from the guest accommodation entirely rather than folded into it. Family or guests have the run of the six cabins below, while the owner keeps a whole deck to themselves.
Performance and engineering
Two CAT C32 ACERT engines drive her to a 15-knot top speed and a 12-knot cruise, figures that sit alongside a hull the yard describes as built for transoceanic crossings and long-distance cruising. For an owner, that is a yacht that can be pointed at a genuine passage rather than kept to day trips between marinas.
Where she lies and how to see her
The Extra X145 Global is building in Italy, with delivery set for 2029. Boatcrowd represents the sale and will set up a viewing as she nears completion, attending alongside any buyer who wants to see her in person; once an offer is accepted, survey and sea trial come next.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
