About Bering B145
A 9.1-metre beam on a 44-metre hull gives the Bering B145 wide interior spaces, and her explorer styling puts that width to work as living area rather than corridor. In-house naval architects and engineers at the yard designed her, and construction is under way for delivery in 2029.
Build and provenance
She is a steel-hulled, aluminium-superstructure monohull, an explorer design built with distance and sea-keeping in mind rather than marina looks alone. She is being built now, so a buyer inherits no service history, just a specification to check against the finished yacht.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests can be aboard. The master stateroom sits forward on the main deck, and a lift connects the decks so movement between them is not limited to stairs. The saloon and a dining area for twelve are on the main deck, with a second dining table one deck up, on the upper deck.
Performance and engineering
Two CAT C-32 engines rated at 1200 bhp give her a 12-knot cruise and a 15-knot top speed, figures suited to covering distance steadily rather than closing it quickly. A garage aft carries the tenders and water toys, kept apart from the living spaces above.
On deck and at anchor
The flybridge carries an outdoor jacuzzi, a second living space above the main saloon. At the stern, a beach club gives direct access to the water when she is at anchor.
Where she lies and how to see her
The Bering B145 is being built in Turkey, and Boatcrowd will arrange a viewing there once she is far enough along to walk through, attending it with the buyer. Once an offer is accepted, we set up the survey and the sea trial before the sale goes ahead.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
