About Nechida
Two 1,450 hp MTU engines give Nechida a 16-knot top speed and a 12-knot cruise, the pace of a full-displacement hull built to cover distance efficiently rather than plane. Benetti built her as a Classic Supreme in 2019, a 40-metre motor yacht shaped for range and comfort.
Build and provenance
Nechida is a 2019-built Benetti Classic Supreme, a 40-metre, 346 gross ton monohull with a beam of 8.2 metres and a draft of 2.3 metres. That draft keeps shallower anchorages and smaller harbours open to her, without giving up the volume a 40-metre hull carries above the waterline.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests are accommodated across six cabins, with a crew of seven aboard to run the yacht and look after them. That ratio gives each pair of guests close to one crew member, enough for full service without an outsized crew to house.
Performance and engineering
Power comes from two 1,450 hp MTU 12V 2000 M72 engines, delivering a 12-knot cruise and a 16-knot top speed. That combination favours steady-state running over sprint speed, in keeping with a displacement hull built for comfortable passages rather than short bursts of pace.
On deck and at anchor
The sun deck carries a jacuzzi and a separate dip pool, with a barbecue close by for meals outdoors, and a massage room offers a place to unwind. Air conditioning runs throughout, keeping the cabins comfortable regardless of the season.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
