About Koju
Benetti built Koju as a Motopanfilo 37M, a line that reworks classic yacht styling into a modern hull, and delivered her in 2022. At 297 gross tonnes across 37 metres she carries her volume forward into the rooms where guests spend the day, and she lies ready to view in Nassau, Bahamas.
Build and provenance
She is a GRP-hulled displacement motor yacht with a GRP superstructure, drawn as a monohull, and her interior was designed by Lazzarini and Pickering. Being a 2022 build, she carries no refit history: a survey today reads as a delivery inspection rather than a record of past work, which is a buyer's advantage, less to verify and less to negotiate around.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins, cared for by a crew of seven, a ratio that leaves room for attentive service at a full table. The primary suite occupies the main deck with full beam, giving it space for a private study and twin en suite bathrooms alongside the berth, while four further cabins continue the same soft-edged design below.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,400 hp MAN V12 engines carry her at a 13-knot cruise and 16 knots flat out, speeds suited to island-hopping through the Bahamas rather than ocean crossings. Stabilisers work both at anchor and underway, keeping the cabins level whether she is moored off a beach or making way between islands.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a swimming pool and a beach club give guests two places to be outside, backed by a swimming platform for stepping straight into the water and a barbecue for evenings at anchor. A tender garage keeps the toys out of sight until wanted, and underwater lights turn the hull into a feature after dark.
Where she lies and how to see her
Koju lies in Nassau, in the Bahamas, and Boatcrowd is the point of contact for viewing her there; we set up the appointment and are present for it. Once a buyer makes an accepted offer, the survey and sea trial follow, ahead of handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
