About Baglietto 46M
Francesco Paszkowski drew the exterior lines of this tri-deck motor yacht, and the interior behind them carries his hand too, with Margherita Casprini. Baglietto built the Baglietto 46M in 2015, a scale of 46 metres that gives one design team room to carry a single language from the saloon to the sky lounge. She is offered for sale from her berth in Golfe Juan.
Build and provenance
She is a steel-hulled, aluminium-superstructure monohull, a full-displacement design built to Bureau Veritas class. The tri-deck profile adds a sky lounge above the main saloon, a design choice that gives guests a second lounge without adding length to the hull. At 498 gross tons and a 9.5-metre beam, she carries volume that a Paszkowski-styled exterior keeps looking lean rather than boxy.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins, with the full-beam master suite forward on the main deck and four further cabins, two doubles and two twins, on the lower deck. A crew of nine looks after ten guests, a ratio that shows up in service rather than on paper.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,977 hp Caterpillar engines cruise her at 16 knots and reach 17 knots at full throttle, with a range of 4,500 nautical miles at her economical 12-knot speed, enough to cover a long passage without a fuel stop. Zero-speed stabilisers hold her level at anchor, underway stabilisers do the same on passage, and a bow thruster handles the close-quarters work in harbour.
On deck and at anchor
The beach club opens at the stern with a swimming platform and a jacuzzi on deck, and a barbecue is set up for lunch without leaving the water behind. Teak decks run the length of her, and the sky lounge upstairs gives a second, more private spot to watch the evening from.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
