Build and provenance
Azimut built Freja in 2023 to the Magellano 66 design, styled in-house by the yard both outside and in, and gave her a fibreglass hull under a semi-planing Dual Mode form that lets her run efficiently at low speed or push on when needed. That hull choice matters for a buyer: it is the reason a Magellano can loiter on a passage without burning through fuel, then still open up when the day calls for it.
Layout and accommodation
Below deck, 8 guests are accommodated across 4 cabins, including a full-beam Owner's stateroom with windows along the hull, a forward VIP and 2 further guest cabins, while a separate crew area houses her 2 crew. Above, the open-plan main deck runs the salon into the dining area, galley and wheelhouse in one line, and the flybridge adds further dining and lounge space, so life on board spreads across three distinct decks rather than staying confined to one.
Performance and engineering
Twin MAN engines at 850 hp apiece take Freja to a 19-knot cruise and 24 knots at full throttle, and her range runs to 360 nautical miles, enough to cross a stretch of open water most flybridge yachts her size would need to break into shorter hops. At 68 gross tonnes on a 20-metre waterline, she carries her volume without feeling like a bigger boat to handle.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
