Wider 210 Motor Yacht
About Wider 210
Fifteen hours of silent running is what her Zero Emission Mode buys an owner: enough for a full evening and a quiet night at anchor without a generator turning over. Wider Yachts is building the Wider 210 for delivery in 2028, a 64-metre hybrid yacht where day-to-day running looks closer to a home battery system than a diesel one.
Build and provenance
Wider Yachts is building the Wider 210 in steel to Rina classification, a 64-metre monohull with a beam of eleven metres and a draught of 2.7 metres. At 1,200 gross tons she carries genuine volume, and her diesel-electric hybrid system is built into the design, which shows it was part of the original brief rather than an afterthought.
Layout and accommodation
Fourteen guests are accommodated in seven cabins, cared for by a crew of seventeen, a ratio built for full-service running rather than a lean weekend crew. A full deck is set aside for the owner alone, separate from the guest cabins below, which gives real separation from guest and crew life aboard.
Performance and engineering
She cruises at 15 knots and reaches 17 flat out, with power coming from a diesel-electric hybrid system that can run on battery alone or bring in up to two generators as load demands. A Power Management system keeps those generators off unless they are actually needed, so engine hours build up when guests or systems call for power, not on a fixed schedule. Fuel tankage runs to 130,000 litres, giving her the range for extended cruising between stops.
On deck and at anchor
A beach club, swimming pool and jacuzzi sit alongside a fold-out balcony that opens the hull to the water at anchor. A gym and spa cover fitness and wellness, a cinema is fitted for evenings aboard, and a tender garage, water toys, helipad and owner's study round out what she carries for guests and owner alike.
Where she lies and how to see her
The Wider 210 is taking shape in Italy, so an early viewing means walking the yard rather than a finished saloon. We set up and attend those visits, and after an offer is accepted a survey and sea trial are scheduled ahead of handover, timed to fit around her build.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
