About Casa
A single design idea from Luca Bassani gave Wally its identity, and Casa carries it whole: an open, uncluttered deck built for daylight rather than decoration. Wally Yachts delivered the 27-metre motor yacht in 2016, and she still reads as a design statement rather than simply a boat.
Build and provenance
She is a 27 Wallyace, a sport motor yacht on a single monohull built to that same minimalist grammar: open sightlines and seamless glazing rather than a production-line layout. Her length reads as 27 metres, 89 feet on the imperial scale, and at 117 gross tonnes she carries that volume as living space rather than as bulk.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across three cabins, with four crew aboard to run the boat and keep the open-plan interior as uncluttered under way as Bassani drew it at rest. A tender garage keeps the toys out of sight until they are wanted, in keeping with a philosophy that puts nothing on deck that was not designed to be there.
Performance and engineering
Two 345 hp Caterpillar C12 engines give Casa a 10-knot cruise and 12 knots at full throttle, figures that belong to a yacht built for a settled anchorage rather than a fast crossing. That pace suits her purpose: the design language rewards time spent looking at the water, not covering it quickly.
On deck and at anchor
A jacuzzi sits on deck, and a sun deck and a beach club are both aboard, three spaces that carry the open-air idea from the drawing board onto the water. Air conditioning below keeps the same simplicity liveable through the summer months.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
