Eight guests, three cabins and a crew of two set Victory's scale: a yacht built for a day offshore, not a full season of entertaining. Viking Yachts delivered the 82EB in 2016, and she is rigged as a sportfish that reaches 36 knots flat out and settles into a 28-knot cruise.
Build and provenance
Victory is a monohull motor yacht built to Viking Yachts' 82EB specification, 82 feet, or 25 metres, overall at 123 gross tonnes. Viking delivered her in 2016, and everything above the waterline is set up for days offshore rather than overnight entertaining.
Layout and accommodation
Three cabins sleep eight guests, with a crew of two aboard to run the boat and look after the cockpit. Two crew is a working sportfish complement: expect a captain and a mate rather than a hospitality team, suited to an owner who fishes the boat personally.
Performance and engineering
Two 2,600 hp MTU 16V2000 engines drive Victory to a 28-knot cruise and 36 knots flat out, the pace a sportfish needs to reach the grounds and be back before the bite ends. Stabilisers underway settle her at cruising speed, and a bow thruster and crane cover docking and tender handling.
On deck and at anchor
SATCOM, WiFi, satellite TV and Starlink keep her connected offshore, air conditioning covers the cabins below, and underwater lights extend the evening once she is anchored.
Where she lies and how to see her
Victory lies in Lighthouse Point, in the USA. Boatcrowd arranges viewings and is there for them, and once an offer is accepted a survey and sea trial follow before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
