Not every buyer wants to commit before spending time aboard, and Orizzonte offers that route: she already carries guests through Boatcrowd's charter fleet from her base in St Tropez, working the coasts of France and Monaco. Vahali Shipyards built her in 2020, and a 2025 refit followed. At 30 metres and 196 gross tons, she is on the market now for a buyer ready to move quickly.
Build and provenance
Vahali Shipyards delivered Orizzonte as a custom, displacement motor yacht on a monohull, finished in 2020 with a 2025 refit. Her beam runs to 6.9 metres and her draft to 2.4 metres, proportions built for comfortable running rather than outright pace. For a buyer, a refit year confirms recent attention without dictating its scope; the detail that matters is that a five-year-old yacht has had further work done since delivery.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across four cabins, with six crew aboard to run the yacht and look after them, a count that leaves headroom against the guest list. That balance suits an owner's private weeks as much as a charter season, since the crew who care for guests today are the ones a buyer inherits at handover.
Performance and engineering
Twin 610 hp Caterpillar C18 engines carry Orizzonte at a 10-knot cruise and up to 13 knots flat out: a displacement hull built for steady coastal running rather than a fast crossing, which suits her France and Monaco charter ground as well as a private itinerary along the same coast.
Where she lies and how to see her
Orizzonte lies in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, on the French coast. Boatcrowd arranges every viewing and is there for it, and once an offer is accepted a survey and sea trial follow before handover. Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
