Aladdin Motor Yacht
About Aladdin
Running a 340 gross ton yacht takes a crew, and this one carries eight of them to look after ten guests across five cabins, the kind of ratio that turns ownership into something closer to full service than self-sufficiency. Sunseeker built her in 2017, and she lies in Monaco today, on the market through Boatcrowd.
Build and provenance
Sunseeker built her, launching Aladdin in 2017 with a GRP hull and superstructure, and teak laid across her decks. At 40 metres and 340 gross tons, she carries the internal volume that comes with a flybridge layout: broad windows and a full-beam owner's suite forward on the main deck rather than tucked below.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins: the full-beam owner's suite forward, two VIP cabins and two convertible twins on the lower deck, each built for flexibility rather than one fixed layout. Eight crew look after them, enough hands that a busy week aboard never becomes a chore for the owner.
Performance and engineering
Twin 3,140 hp MTU 12V 4000 M93 engines give her a 16-knot cruise and 22 knots at full throttle, enough speed for coastal cruising rather than a slow displacement crawl. Her semi-displacement hull is built for longer passages as well as short hops, and holds steady both underway and at anchor.
Where she lies and how to see her
Aladdin is lying in Monaco. A viewing can be arranged through Boatcrowd, and we're present for it, walking the boat with you rather than just opening the door. Once an offer is made and accepted, survey and sea trial follow before anything closes.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
