Sunreef 80 Eco Sailing Catamaran
About Sunreef 80 Eco
Two electric motors, not diesels, drive Sunreef 80 Eco, and that changes what owning her day to day looks like: no diesel exhaust at anchor, and running costs shaped by sun and shore power rather than a fuel dock. Sunreef Yachts built her in 2021, twenty-four metres long with an 11.54-metre beam, and she lies in Greece.
Build and provenance
She is a Sunreef 80 Eco, the electric-propulsion version of Sunreef Yachts' 80 catamaran, built in 2021 with composite construction. Her equipment list includes a carbon performance mast and boom, a North Sails package, teak decks, a hydraulic passerelle, electric bow thrusters, and a watermaker. For an owner, that list points to a boat fitted for long stretches away from a marina rather than short local sailing.
Layout and accommodation
Her layout centres on a master cabin and three further guest cabins, family or friends aboard. The main saloon holds the indoor lounge and dining space, while the flybridge carries its own bar and sun pads above the aft cockpit, so guests have several separate places to sit rather than one shared saloon.
Performance and engineering
Two electric motors, rated at 180 kW each, turn the propellers, backed by a solar panel array and a battery bank charged from the sun. A diving compressor with bottles is aboard, and the sail plan runs to a mainsail, a genoa, a stay sail and a gennaker.
Where she lies and how to see her
Sunreef 80 Eco lies in Greece. Boatcrowd sets up the viewing and comes along for it, and once an offer is accepted, the survey and the sea trial follow before the sale closes.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
