Build and provenance
She is a Sunreef Power catamaran, 78 feet long with an 11.9-metre beam and a composite hull, and Sunreef Yachts delivered her in 2020. What sets her file apart is what has already been done since: her engines, generator and air conditioning plant have all had recent work, so a buyer inherits that spending already completed rather than facing it after purchase.
Layout and accommodation
Three cabins sleep six guests aboard Mo Chuang Hao, with the salon opening onto the exterior deck spaces rather than being closed off from them. The flybridge extends the living space upward, working as a second lounge and dining area above the main deck.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,200 hp MAN V8 diesels give Mo Chuang Hao a 14-knot cruise and a 21-knot top speed. A generator keeps her systems running at anchor, and a stated range of 3,500 nautical miles puts long passages within reach rather than just coastal hops.
On deck and at anchor
A hydraulic swim platform brings the water within a step at anchor, and a passerelle handles boarding when she lies stern-to. WiFi and air conditioning keep the comforts of land aboard, whatever the weather in Qingdao's waters.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
