Sirena Yachts is building her in Istanbul for delivery in 2026, a 42-metre steel and aluminium yacht with that flexibility built into the plan from the start.
Build and provenance
Sirena Yachts is building the Sirena 42 in steel and aluminium at its yard in Istanbul, a 42-metre displacement monohull classed by Rina. Luca Vallebona has drawn the exterior and Hot Lab the interior, while the hull form itself comes from Van Oossanen, the firm behind her fast displacement lines. At 433 gross tons and a beam of 8.8 metres, she carries the proportions to support that flexible layout below.
Layout and accommodation
Eleven guests are accommodated across five cabins, with a crew of nine to run the yacht day to day. The owner's suite can be placed on the main deck or the upper deck, and whichever deck stays free downstairs can turn into extra dining space off the salon or a separate corner for guests near the bow, a choice made at the build stage rather than fixed by the yard.
Performance and engineering
She cruises at 10 knots and reaches 15 knots at full speed, a pace suited to covering distance efficiently rather than arriving quickly. Fuel tankage runs to 44,996 litres and fresh water to 10,397 litres, giving her the range and self-sufficiency for extended time away from a marina.
On deck and at anchor
A swimming pool and jacuzzi sit on the sun deck, giving guests somewhere to be outside whichever cabin configuration is chosen below. Water toys are carried aboard for time spent off the yacht rather than on it.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
