Build and provenance
Riva built Sairu in 2025 as the 54Metri, a 54-metre monohull of 499 gross tons with a hull and superstructure both built in aluminium. Officina Italiana Design drew her exterior and interior lines. A single light material used for both hull and superstructure at this size points to a yard building for speed and long-range comfort together.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins, with a crew of twelve to look after them over four connected decks. A lift links all four levels, so moving between them never depends on a set of stairs.
Performance and engineering
Twin 1,947 hp MTU 12V2000 M96L engines cruise Sairu at 15 knots and reach 18 knots at full power, the numbers of a yacht built to cover distance at a settled pace rather than to sprint. Four electric stabiliser fins and twin electric rudders cut vibration and roll, whether she is underway or sitting at anchor.
On deck and at anchor
The sun deck’s jacuzzi looks out over open water, and a five-metre pool anchors the main deck’s outdoor lounge; the beach club below opens onto the sea for swimming once she is moored.
Where she lies and how to see her
Sairu lies in Bodrum, Turkey. Boatcrowd sets up every viewing and is on board for it, and once a buyer’s offer is accepted, survey and sea trial follow before the sale completes. She already charters through Boatcrowd, so a buyer can spend a week aboard beforehand and get to know the yacht before committing to her.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
