About Ciao
Buying Ciao means taking over a yacht barely a model year old, not waiting through a build slot for a new one. Pershing delivered the 7X in 2024, and she already carries the fit and finish of that year without months on an order book.
Build and provenance
Pershing built her in 2024 with a composite monohull, a construction the yard uses across the range for stiffness at speed. At 21 metres with a beam of 5.4 metres, Ciao carries the proportions of a sports yacht built to plane rather than displace. No refit is recorded, which is expected of a boat this new.
Layout and accommodation
Three cabins sleep six guests, a compact company that keeps a fast, open sports yacht simple to run: fewer cabins mean more of the yacht is deck and cockpit rather than interior.
Performance and engineering
She cruises at 38 knots and reaches 52 knots at full throttle. That gap between the two numbers leaves plenty in reserve above a normal cruise, so a buyer gets speed on tap for a short crossing without running flat out to get there. Handling and sea state at that speed are best judged first hand, and a sea trial is the way to do it.
Where she lies and how to see her
Ciao lies in Ibiza, ready for a private viewing whenever a buyer wants one. Boatcrowd arranges that, attends it, and once an offer is accepted co-ordinates the survey and sea trial that follow before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
