Two 1,450 hp MAN engines give the Numarine 45XP a 12-knot cruise and 16 knots at full throttle, figures suited to distance work rather than a fast dash across a bay. Numarine is building her now for delivery in 2028, a 147-foot, full-displacement steel hull engineered by Kroes Marine Projects. At 45 metres she is sized to cross oceans, not just coastlines.
Build and provenance
The Numarine 45XP is a full-displacement steel-hulled explorer, her interior styled by the Milan studio Hot Lab and her engineering handled by Kroes Marine Projects. Numarine has her under construction now, due for delivery in 2028. For a buyer, a steel hull and full-displacement lines mean a yacht built to sit steady in open water over long passages rather than to plane across calm ones.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests sleep across six cabins, with the owner's suite set forward and full beam for space, complete with a private exterior deck, a jacuzzi with a waterfall feature and floor-to-ceiling glass. Crew live apart, in a captain's cabin and two twin cabins reached from their own lobby, the kind of separation that keeps service out of sight until it is wanted.
Performance and engineering
Her twin MAN engines, 1,450 hp each, hold a 12-knot cruise and reach 16 knots flat out, and her tanks carry 15,058 gallons of fuel and 1,585 gallons of water, tankage built for weeks away from a fuel dock rather than a day out. Three generators, two of the larger pair and one smaller, keep systems running at anchor without the mains, and electric fin stabilisers hold her steady once the engines are off.
On deck and at anchor
Aft, the beach club opens onto the water, and forward, an explorer bow deck gives the boat a second outdoor room built for open horizons rather than a marina view. A 3-tonne davit lifts a 9-metre tender and three jet skis onto the boat deck, so the toys travel with her rather than trail behind on a second boat.

The Numarine 45XP is under construction in Istanbul, Turkey, where her builder is completing her. Boatcrowd will keep you posted through the build and arrange a viewing there once she is ready, attending it with you; once an offer is accepted, survey and sea trial follow before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
