Two 900hp MAN engines and a steel hull built for distance define Eau La La, a 37XP that Numarine completed in Turkey in 2023. She is built as an exploration-style displacement yacht, meant to keep moving rather than sit at anchor, and everything below follows that brief.
Build and provenance
Numarine built her in Turkey in 2023, with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure under a teak deck, a construction spec chosen for range rather than outright pace. At 362 gross tons and 37 metres, she is a displacement design built to cover distance efficiently rather than plane across it.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests sleep across six cabins, with a crew of seven aboard to run the boat, cover suited to a yacht built to cross distances rather than potter along a coast.
Performance and engineering
Two 900hp MAN engines give Eau La La a 14-knot cruise and an 18-knot top speed, figures that favour range over sprint. Zero-speed stabilisers hold her level at anchor as well as under way, useful on a yacht meant to sit at anchor for days between passages. Her draught of 2.6 metres and 8-metre beam keep her out of the shallowest anchorages but steady everywhere else.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a beach club and a fold-down transom swim platform put the water within reach, a sun deck and sky lounge sit above the main guest areas, and a jacuzzi, wet bar and space for al fresco dining round out the top decks. A forward helm station keeps the bridge separate from the guest areas, and sunpads take up what is left of the open deck. Below, dry storage, refrigerated garbage storage and increased refrigeration capacity point to a boat provisioned for weeks away rather than a weekend, with water toys stowed for whenever the anchor goes down.
Where she lies and how to see her
Eau La La lies in St Barths. We arrange viewings there in person and attend every one, and once an offer is accepted a survey and sea trial follow before anything is signed off. She also sails in our charter fleet, so a buyer who wants time aboard before deciding can book a week through her charter page first.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
