El Pecado Motor Yacht
About El Pecado
Three crew for ten guests is a lean but complete complement, the kind of ratio that suits an owner who wants full service without a large payroll. Maiora built El Pecado in 2018, and she was refitted in 2024. She lies in Athens, offered for sale through Boatcrowd.
Build and provenance
El Pecado is a Maiora sport flybridge, a monohull constructed from fibreglass with a matching fibreglass superstructure. Her 2018 build was followed by an extensive 2024 refit, and the source notes that engine hours have remained low, a detail a surveyor will assess together with the recent refit work rather than in isolation.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across four cabins, one of which adds a Pullman berth for extra flexibility when the group runs larger than a couple per cabin. A crew of three run the yacht day to day, with the main deck and cockpit arranged for outdoor living and dining.
Performance and engineering
Twin MAN engines rated at 1,360 hp each deliver a top speed of 26 knots and a cruising speed of 22 knots, quick enough to shorten a passage rather than stretch it into the whole day. When she is anchored or moving slowly, zero-speed stabilisers hold her level.
On deck and at anchor
A tender garage keeps the tender and water toys out of sight until they are wanted, leaving the swim platform and aft deck clear for guests rather than gear.
Where she lies and how to see her
El Pecado lies in Athens, Greece. A viewing is arranged and attended by Boatcrowd, and once an offer is accepted, a survey and sea trial follow before anything is signed off.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
