Inace Yachts is building her now, on course to launch in 2027 as a 27-metre, 225 gross tonne explorer yacht. Ten guests will travel in five cabins, with four crew aboard to run her.
Build and provenance
Fernando de Almeida drew Isy 90 Explora's lines for Inace Yachts, which is building her in steel with an aluminium superstructure, a pairing chosen for strength over a long working life rather than for appearance alone. At 225 gross tonnes across 27 metres, she carries proportionate volume for an explorer-style profile. For a buyer, a steel hull below the waterline is the detail that matters most on a yacht built for distant cruising, and here it runs throughout.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins, run by a crew of four. The full-beam owner's suite sits forward on the main deck, running the width of the hull for extra space, while two VIP cabins and two further guest cabins are arranged on the lower deck. Putting the owner's space up and guest cabins down keeps circulation simple and separates the owner from the rest of the accommodation.
Performance and engineering
Explorer-style engineering underpins Isy 90 Explora: an eleven-knot cruising speed suited to long, steady passages rather than short fast hops, with zero-speed fin stabilisers to hold her level at anchor as well as under way. A hydraulic bow thruster adds control for close-quarters handling in harbour. Together, the specification points to a yacht built to go further rather than faster.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
