About Aqua Life
Fourteen countries and territories, from the Bahamas down through the Grenadines to Barbados, make up the ground Aqua Life already covers on charter, run out of a base in Exuma. Horizon built her in 2020, and she is offered for sale from Stuart, in the United States.
Build and provenance
Horizon finished her as an enclosed-skyline motor yacht, a design that pushes the upper deck's walls out to the full width of the hull and turns what would be open flybridge space into another interior room. At 27 metres, 90 feet, length and a 7.09-metre beam, she carries 95 gross tons, volume that shows up most in her two enclosed living decks rather than in extra length.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests are accommodated across five cabins, with a full-beam owner's suite and its own ensuite. Four further guest cabins give family or mixed groups room to spread out. On the main deck a forward dining area sits apart from the lounge, and above it the enclosed upper deck adds a second indoor living room with the higher sightlines that come with it. Outside, flybridge seating and foredeck sunpads give Aqua Life's crew of four room to set the boat up wherever the sun or shade calls for it, while an aft dining space keeps meals outdoors when the weather allows.
Performance and engineering
Twin MTU M96L diesel engines drive her at a 12-knot cruise with 16 knots in reserve at full throttle, a pairing built for comfortable, fuel-conscious running over a long charter season rather than a dash between anchorages. That range of speed suits the multi-island itinerary she already runs under charter, from short hops to longer runs between territories.

Aqua Life lies in Stuart, in the United States, where a viewing can be arranged through us and we go aboard with you. Once an offer is accepted, survey and sea trial follow before anything is finalised. She is already part of our charter fleet, sailing out of Exuma across the wider region she covers, so a buyer who wants to spend a week aboard first can charter her before deciding to buy.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
