About Reliance
A shark-grey hull and a low, overhung bow mark Reliance out as an Omega Architects design rather than a generic profile. Heesen built her in 2023, with Van Oossanen's naval architecture beneath the styling. At 55 metres and 760 gross tonnes, she carries that volume without looking heavy.
Build and provenance
Her hull is steel and her superstructure aluminium, built to Lloyd's classification, and the Fast Displacement Hull Form beneath the styling keeps her efficient without giving up the volume a full-beam layout needs. Luca Dini Design and Architecture handled the interior, working in tay wood, natural stone and marine leather rather than anything showier.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests sleep across six cabins, with the owner's apartment running the full beam of the main deck forward, a placement that keeps the primary suite steady even under way. A crew of 13 looks after them, better than one hand for each guest, and the upper deck skylounge and bar give a second gathering room besides the formal dining for 12 in the main salon. Below, the beach club opens into a wellness deck with a sauna, hammam and gym, and above, the sundeck carries a jacuzzi and bar for evenings at anchor.
Performance and engineering
Twin MTU engines give Reliance a cruising speed of 13 knots and a top speed of 15.5 knots, enough to move between anchorages without labouring. Zero-speed stabilisers hold her steady once she stops, which matters most at the kind of long lunch anchorage a yacht this size is built for.
Where she lies and how to see her
Reliance lies in Naples. We set up her viewings and come along to each one, and once an offer is accepted we bring in the surveyor and put a date on the sea trial. She already carries a Boatcrowd charter listing, so a week aboard before you commit is on the table too, quite apart from the figures on the asking side.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
