About Resonance
A ratio of 342 gross tons to 125 feet is what sets Resonance apart on paper, before a buyer steps aboard her. Hargrave built her in 2026 on a carbon fibre hull to a design credited to Jack Sarin, and the yard chose volume over strict length efficiency. The interior, as a result, reads larger than her length alone suggests.
Build and provenance
Resonance is classed with RINA, an independent mark on a hull delivered in 2026, and her interior design is credited to Hargrave's own studio rather than an outside firm. At a 7.9-metre beam on a 38-metre length, she carries more width than her length alone implies, which is part of where the extra volume sits. A new hull also means a clean survey history: there is a build record to read, not yet a refit one.
Layout and accommodation
Five cabins sleep 10 guests, and a crew of eight look after them, close to one crew member for every guest. That kind of ratio tends to mean quicker attention at the table and less waiting for anything. Her flybridge design stacks an open-air deck above the main saloon, keeping upper-deck lounging separate from the enclosed living space below.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,900 hp Caterpillar C32 engines give her a 15-knot cruise and 18 knots flat out, power built for confident coastal running rather than outright speed. Zero-speed stabilisers keep her level at anchor as well as under way, and bow and stern thrusters make close-quarters berthing straightforward for the crew.
On deck and at anchor
A generator keeps her systems running through a day spent at rest, working alongside the stabilisers to keep anchor time as settled as time under way. Beyond these, the specification stays simple rather than crowded with extras.
Where she lies and how to see her
Resonance lies in Fort Lauderdale, in the United States. Boatcrowd sets up viewings and is there for them, and once an offer is accepted we put the survey and sea trial on the calendar with her captain.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
