Hull One of a new production line carries a particular kind of promise: everything about her can still be decided. Filippetti N28-01 is the opening hull of the Navetta 28 line, a 28-metre motor yacht due in 2027, and buying this early means shaping her layout and finishes rather than inheriting someone else's choices.
Build and provenance
Naval architect Fulvio De Simoni drew a displacement monohull with a bulbous bow, a hull shape chosen for range and stability rather than outright speed. At 28 metres, with a beam of 7 metres and a draft of 1.8 metres, she carries the proportions of a yacht built for distance. As Hull One, she is the opening example of this design, which is why so much of her layout, finishes and cabin count remain open to the buyer who takes this slot.
Layout and accommodation
The Navetta 28 is designed to sleep 12 guests, with this hull settling on six cabins. Crew are quartered separately, in three cabins with two heads, keeping their work out of guest areas. Because so much of the build is still open, a buyer can choose to place the owner's suite on the main deck or the upper deck, whichever suits them best.
Performance and engineering
Two 800 hp Man engines take her to a 13-knot cruise and 15 knots at full throttle, speeds built for distance rather than sprint. A fuel capacity of 20,500 litres and a water capacity of 3,500 litres point to weeks away from a marina, and two 33kW generators keep her self-sufficient at anchor. Stabiliser fins hold her steady both underway and at rest.
Where she lies and how to see her
Filippetti N28-01 is being built in Ancona, Italy, and that is where a buyer will see her. Boatcrowd will arrange a viewing there and stay involved throughout, and once an offer on this hull is accepted we bring in a surveyor and set up her sea trial before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
