About Filippetti S100
Ordering the Filippetti S100 today means buying a set of drawings and a yard slot, not a finished hull. Filippetti will deliver her in 2027, a 100-foot sports yacht built for owners who want speed alongside a say in how she is finished. At this stage a buyer chooses a specification, and those choices decide the yacht that eventually arrives in the water.
Build and provenance
Fulvio De Simoni designed her, and Filippetti builds the hull in fibreglass on a planing shape suited to speed. She measures 31 metres, 100 feet, with a 6.8-metre beam and a 1.2-metre draft. As an in-build yacht, she carries no history yet: initial inspection amounts to a delivery check rather than a wear assessment.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins, led by a full-beam owner's suite on the main deck, a configuration rare in this class that adds space, light and privacy. Four further cabins sit below, each with a private head. Aft, three crew cabins and two heads keep service separate from the guest spaces.
Performance and engineering
Two MAN engines, each rated at 2,000 hp, give her a 35-knot cruise and a 40-knot top speed, the kind of pace that turns a distant anchorage into an afternoon trip. Built on a planing hull rather than a displacement one, she is shaped for that speed rather than for slow, steady passages.
Where she lies and how to see her
The Filippetti S100 is under construction at Filippetti's yard in Ancona, Italy. Boatcrowd sets up a viewing there and joins a buyer for it, and once an offer on her is accepted we schedule the survey and sea trial ahead of her 2027 delivery.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
