About Vanadis
A 2026 refit sits on top of a 2019 build, and that gap is the first thing worth knowing about Vanadis. Cerri Cantieri Navali delivered her as a 31-metre Fuoriserie, and continued technical investment since has kept her current rather than simply maintained. She now lies in Genoa, offered through Boatcrowd.
Build and provenance
Guido de Groot drew both her exterior and her interior, and naval architecture came from Ginton in Holland: a hull built to Lloyd's class and kept to commercial-compliance standards under private registration. Her propulsion is a Siemens-managed hybrid system pairing twin Caterpillar engines with electric motors and Schottel azimuth pods, an architecture the yard also left room to take alternative-fuel generators as they mature. For a buyer, that combination reads less like a boat that will need updating soon and more like one already built for what comes next.
Layout and accommodation
Six guests sleep across three en-suite staterooms on the lower deck, including a full-beam Owner's Stateroom with its own sofa, desk and walk-in wardrobe, and two further twin staterooms, one with a separate office area. A crew of five look after the boat and her guests. Above, the main salon pairs a lounge aft with formal dining forward, opening onto the shaded aft deck rather than closing the interior off from it.
Performance and engineering
Twin 380 hp Caterpillar C9.3 engines and the hybrid electric drive give Vanadis a cruising speed of 11.5 knots and a top speed of 13 knots, with a cruising range of 2,080 nautical miles: a yacht built to cover distance efficiently rather than to sprint. Twin generators support the systems at anchor, and stabilisers work both underway and at rest, so the range and the comfort travel together rather than as separate features.
On deck and at anchor
The sun deck carries a barbecue and sunpads for the crossing, while the aft platform doubles as a beach club at anchor, with a bathing platform and a crane for handling the tender. Bow and stern thrusters and dynamic positioning make close-quarters handling in a marina like Genoa's straightforward, and SATCOM, WiFi and Starlink keep the boat connected offshore as well as in port.
Where she lies and how to see her
Vanadis lies in Genoa, Italy. Boatcrowd sets up viewings there and comes along to them, and once an offer is accepted we bring in the survey and sea trial before anything is signed off.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
