About Stellamar
Nineteen knots flat out and 15 at cruise: Stellamar's numbers point away from speed and toward range. Cantiere Delle Marche built her in 2023 as a full-displacement explorer, and her machinery follows the same brief throughout, distance over pace.
Build and provenance
She has a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, an explorer's construction rather than a planing sports build, which is what lets her work in conditions from the polar edge to the tropics without changing her routine. Francesco Paszkowski drew her exterior lines and Margherita Casprini her interior, and at 299 gross tonnes across 35 metres she carries real volume for her length.
Layout and accommodation
Aboard Stellamar, 11 guests are accommodated across five cabins, with a crew of seven kept in their own quarters, close to a one-to-one ratio that keeps a small group properly looked after. The owner has a main-deck suite with its own infrared sauna, plus a study nearby for work as well as rest.
Performance and engineering
Two 715 hp Caterpillar C18 ACERT engines drive her to a 15-knot cruise and 19 knots at full throttle, figures suited to a full-displacement hull built to cross oceans rather than dash between anchorages. A lazarette carries a nitrox compressor.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a jacuzzi and a full sun deck cover the top level, with sunpads for the days spent at anchor. Connectivity runs to WiFi and Starlink, so a long passage does not mean an offline one, and the air conditioning keeps the cabins comfortable regardless of the latitude she happens to be in.
Where she lies and how to see her
Stellamar lies in Newport, in the United States, where a viewing can be arranged; Boatcrowd sets it up and stays involved throughout, with survey and sea trial following once an offer is accepted. She also charters through Boatcrowd out of Nassau, reaching the Bahamas and much of the wider Caribbean, so a buyer can spend a week aboard before deciding to buy her outright.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
