Nineteen crew looking after twelve guests is a ratio built for full service rather than company for the ride. Amels delivered Plvs Vltra in 2016 as part of its Limited Editions series, and a refit in 2025 brings her up to date for whoever buys her next. Tim Heywood drew the exterior and Winch Design finished the interior.
Build and provenance
She is a steel-hulled Amels, one of the yard's Limited Editions series, launched in 2016 and refitted in 2025, though the refit's scope is not listed here. Lloyd's Register holds her classification, the kind of oversight a yacht this size carries as standard rather than as a selling point.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests sleep across six staterooms, with the Owner's suite set on its own deck and reached, along with every other level, by a lift, so nobody aboard has to take the stairs between decks. Nineteen crew run the boat, a ratio that leaves room for a full service team rather than a stretched one.
Performance and engineering
Plvs Vltra carries two 2,575 hp Caterpillar engines, giving her a 12.5-knot cruise and a 16.5-knot top speed, figures that favour distance over pace. Two 301kW generators and a third at 215kW keep a yacht this size running at anchor, and her range extends to 5,000 nautical miles, enough to cross an ocean without a fuel stop. A draught of 3.9 metres is modest for her length, opening anchorages a deeper hull could not reach.
On deck and at anchor
The beach club opens onto the water, and a spa with a massage room and a hammam sits close by for days spent at anchor rather than under way. The aft deck holds a swimming pool, the sundeck a Jacuzzi, and the bridge deck an open-air cinema for evenings once the sun goes down.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
