Allegro Yachts is building her now, for delivery in 2027, and every line reads as a single design decision rather than a stack of options.
Build and provenance
Her hull is fibreglass, laid up as a PVC-cored sandwich and vacuum-infused for strength, then finished with an epoxy barrier coat. Safety glass windows and polished stainless steel fittings extend that same finish to the finer details a buyer notices. She is built to CCS II classification at CE B category, with the option to specify CE A. At 98 feet on a 7.2-metre beam, the Allegro Flybridge 98 is a substantial platform for a design this considered.
Layout and accommodation
Four cabins sleep eight guests aboard the Allegro Flybridge 98, a stateroom count that keeps each room generous rather than multiplying berths to fit more people in. Performance and engineering
Two 2,400 hp Caterpillar engines power her, backed by an 8,000-litre fuel tank and a fuel management system that gives her the reach for longer passages between fuelling stops. Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
