Build and provenance
Sharp Design drew her profile, and the fibreglass hull beneath it is shaped for speed rather than adapted to it afterwards, built to hold 35 knots cleanly instead of reaching that figure in theory alone. Allegro Yachts is building the Allegro Flybridge 82 Model-X now, for delivery in 2027, at 82 feet on a 5.9-metre beam.
Layout and accommodation
Three cabins sleep six guests, with one crew member aboard to run the boat and look after them, a compact complement suited to an owner who wants pace over a full hotel programme. At this length the flybridge and the lower deck share the living space between them rather than one deck carrying all of it.
Performance and engineering
Twin MAN V12 engines at 1,400 hp apiece give the Allegro Flybridge 82 Model-X a 28-knot cruise and a 35-knot top speed, the kind of pace that turns a coastal hop into a same-day trip rather than an overnight one. A 4,500-litre fuel tank and a 1.52-metre draught combine range with access to shallow anchorages. A 1,000-litre water tank keeps her self-sufficient away from a marina.
On deck and at anchor
The flybridge is where she is built to be used, with a wet bar, sunpads and lounge seating under a hardtop that keeps the space shaded without closing it in. A separate skylounge sits aft on the same deck, a private retreat with wide views and extra seating. Solar panels are fitted to supplement her systems at anchor.

- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
