Build and provenance
She is a monohull motor yacht in flybridge style, twenty metres long with a beam of 5.5 metres, built in fibreglass and styled by Absolute Yachts both inside and out. At 49 gross tonnes she carries generous volume for her length, the result of a midship engine placement that frees the interior for living space rather than machinery. She has low hours logged on her two Volvo IPS engines, with shipyard warranty cover still in force.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests are accommodated across four cabins, with one crew member aboard to run her, a scale that suits an owner who wants a yacht simple to crew rather than a full-service operation. Floor-to-ceiling glazing wraps the main deck in natural light, and the aft beach club folds into a private cabin with sliding doors and watertight glass access, adding a fifth sleeping option close to the water.
Performance and engineering
Two Volvo IPS engines give her a 19-knot cruise and 24 knots flat out, with a range of 735 nautical miles: figures suited to coastal hops between anchorages rather than long passages. A gyroscopic stabiliser keeps her level at anchor and under way. Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
