About AB 100
Four cabins for nine guests is a close ratio on a 100-foot yacht, and the AB 100 earns it by opening her spaces rather than dividing them: a full-beam master sits amidships, a VIP cabin sits forward, and two twin cabins, one with an extra pullman berth, sit to port and starboard. A concealed sliding door joins the aft cockpit straight into the saloon, so the two areas read as one room rather than two.
Build and provenance
AB Yachts built the AB 100 in 2022 at Next Yacht Group's yard in Italy, a 100-foot monohull laid up in GRP reinforced with Kevlar and cored with Divinycell, the same construction carried through her superstructure. She is classed by RINA for unrestricted navigation, a notation a surveyor checks before any sale completes, and both her exterior and interior design came from AB Yachts' own studio.
Layout and accommodation
A crew of four run her from two cabins at the bow, apart from where guests sleep, with their own mess and a separate exit to the deck. On the main deck, guests dine al fresco at a table for eight, alongside a wheelhouse fitted with three pilot seats, so the working helm and the guest saloon share the same level rather than being split apart.
Performance and engineering
Three 2,000 hp MAN V12 diesels drive her through waterjets rather than shafts, giving her a 45-knot cruising speed and a 49-knot top speed. A Seakeeper gyroscopic stabiliser and underway stabilisers keep her settled at rest and at speed, and a bow thruster handles her in tight marinas.
On deck and at anchor
At the stern, a beach club opens onto a swimming platform and a hydraulic swim platform, built around a full day at anchor rather than a quick stop. Underwater lights mark the transom after dark, teak decking runs the length of her outdoor spaces, and a watermaker keeps her self-sufficient offshore. Wi-Fi reaches every deck.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
