About Project Atlas

A hybrid motor-and-sail superyacht changes what a day on board looks like: fewer engine hours, sail set when the wind allows, power alone when it doesn't. Project Atlas is a 110-metre concept, in build for delivery in 2029, built around that idea from the keel up.

Build and provenance

Her platform is a single hull, 110 metres, 361 feet, with a beam of 19 metres and a gross tonnage of 4,500. That scale is arranged over five decks, built to carry a hybrid motor-and-sail rig rather than a conventional single system. She is currently a design and build project rather than a delivered yacht, with completion set for 2029.

Layout and accommodation

Accommodation is planned for 30 guests across 30 staterooms, one stateroom to a guest rather than shared cabins, spread over her five decks.

Performance and engineering

Under power or sail, Project Atlas is designed to cruise at 16 knots and reach 20 knots at her top speed, with lifting keels that reduce heel under sail and add active stabilisation, and a variable draught that lets her shallow up where a mooring calls for it. At anchor, zero speed stabilisers hold her steady instead.

On deck and at anchor

On deck and at anchor, a beach club and a pool with a deck jacuzzi give two ways to be in the water without leaving the boat, and a gym and a sauna cover exercise and recovery. Elsewhere, a cinema, a lift between decks, a helipad, jet skis and an on-board therapist round out how the days and evenings are spent.

Where she lies and how to see her

Project Atlas is coming from Norway, and Boatcrowd arranges viewings of her and attends them in person. Once a buyer's offer on her is accepted, survey and sea trial follow before handover.
