A steel hull under an aluminium superstructure is the classic Italian combination for a motor yacht meant to last, and it is what the yard is building into Baglietto DOM115/02, hull number two of the DOM115 series. At 35 metres and 270 gross tons, she is currently under construction. Ten guests and a crew of seven point to a yacht built for extended stays, not weekend hops.

Baglietto DOM115/02 is a monohull motor yacht in the displacement style, built for a level, efficient passage rather than outright speed. Her hull is steel and her superstructure aluminium, a pairing chosen for strength low in the boat and lighter weight above the waterline.

Layout and accommodation

The accommodation plan holds ten guests across five cabins, looked after by a crew of seven. A crew that size on a 35-metre yacht points to full, attentive service through a stay rather than a lean delivery crew.

Being still in build, her engine choice and performance figures are not yet finalised, which is ordinary for a hull at this stage of construction. What is fixed is the hull form: a monohull built to the displacement style, favouring a steady, comfortable passage over top speed.
