Just 80 hours on her two Caterpillar engines is barely enough to run them in, and it puts Miss Candy closer to a delivery yacht than a used one. Versilcraft built her in 2022 as a Sport Adventure 45, and she has spent most of the time since lying at her berth rather than cruising. For a buyer, that means a young yacht without years of wear already worked into her machinery.
Build and provenance
Miss Candy is a Versilcraft Sport Adventure 45 with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, classed by RINA. Optima Design did both the exterior and the interior, one studio responsible for how she looks from the dock and how the interior reads once aboard. She is described as in like-new condition, and with just 80 hours on her two 1,600 hp Caterpillar engines, that claim has a straightforward explanation: she has barely been run.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests sleep across five en suite cabins, and a crew of eleven look after them, a ratio that keeps a full table well served. The owner's suite sits on the upper deck with its own private terrace, a VIP cabin takes the main deck alongside a second VIP cabin, and two twin cabins complete the lower deck. Floor-to-ceiling windows run the length of the 18-metre main salon, keeping the principal living space bright through the day.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,600 hp Caterpillar engines drive her to a 14-knot cruise and 15.5 knots flat out, with fin stabilisers holding her steady both under way and at anchor. A 4,000 nautical mile range points to a yacht built for extended cruising away from frequent marina stops.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a jacuzzi sits alongside dining and sunbathing space on the sundeck, and the aft deck is laid out for dining outdoors. A beach club at the stern includes a steam room, and forward, a tender garage holds space for a tender and a jet ski.

Miss Candy lies in Viareggio, Italy. Boatcrowd sets up every viewing and is there for it, and once an offer is accepted, survey and sea trial follow before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
