Heliophilia Motor Yacht
About Heliophilia
Two 1,550hp MAN engines are the reason Heliophilia can settle into a 13-knot cruise and still hold 22 knots in reserve, numbers that describe a flybridge motor yacht built for range as much as pace. Sirena Yachts finished her in 2024, and she lies now in Athens, ready for an owner who wants proven engineering over an untested design.
Build and provenance
She is a GRP monohull built to the flybridge style, measuring 27 metres, 89 feet, with a beam of 7 metres and a draft of 1.8 metres. Sirena Yachts delivered her in 2024, dimensions and finish that put her among the more spacious yachts built to 27 metres, a claim the specification itself backs up rather than one made lightly.
Layout and accommodation
Nine guests sleep across four cabins, with four crew kept in two cabins of their own, a ratio that keeps the ship comfortable rather than stretched. A full-beam master sits on the main deck, three further cabins are below, and a second day head down there too, rare at this size and a real convenience when the boat is full. A dedicated office and a separate television lounge sit alongside the salon and dining arrangement, and at the bow a private dining area connects straight through to the master cabin by its own sliding door.
Performance and engineering
Her twin MAN engines, each rated at 1,550hp, deliver that 13-knot cruise and 22-knot top speed with ample reserve for a boat this size. A fuel tank holding 3,698 gallons, paired with 1,022 gallons of fresh water, is sized for owners who plan to stay out rather than head back to a marina each evening. Bow and stern thrusters and twin stabilisers keep her steady at slow speed and settled once the anchor is down.
On deck and at anchor
Up on the sundeck a full bar, a grill and a jacuzzi sit under a hardtop with their own dining area, turning the top deck into a venue in its own right rather than a spot to pass through.
Where she lies and how to see her
Heliophilia lies in Athens, Greece. We organise viewings in person and stay involved throughout each one; a survey and sea trial follow once an offer on her is accepted.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
