About NB 202
A gym, an owner's study and four running modes for her hybrid propulsion point to a yacht built for daily life aboard, not just for high days. Sarp Yachts built NB 202, the XSR-85, in 2024 as an explorer-style motor yacht, and her machinery gives an owner more than one way to run her, from full power to a quiet electric mode at anchor.
Build and provenance
Van Oossanen's naval architects drew NB 202's hull to their own Fast Displacement Hull Form, a shape built to hold its performance across a wide speed range rather than suit one speed only. She is built in composite, with carbon fibre in the hull and superstructure, keeping her light for her length. Artline designed her interior in earthy tones.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across four cabins, with four crew aboard to run the yacht day to day. A bow thruster and wheelchair-friendly access are fitted. An owner's study gives a workspace apart from the guest cabins and the saloon.
Performance and engineering
Two 800 hp MAN engines give her a 16-knot cruise and a 21-knot top speed, with a hybrid system that adds an electric-only mode for quiet running and a boost mode that puts the engines and the electric motors to work together. Stabilisers hold her steady both underway and at anchor, and a 1,000-nautical-mile range gives an owner room to plan longer legs, not just a day out.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a jacuzzi, a swimming platform and a separate jacuzzi dip pool give her more than one way to be in the water, and a gym below keeps a workout on the itinerary. WiFi, satellite communication, video-on-demand and air conditioning cover the everyday comforts, and a crane handles gear that would otherwise need lifting by hand.

NB 202 lies in Antalya, on Turkey's southern coast. Boatcrowd sets up a viewing and is there for it, and once an offer is accepted, a survey and sea trial follow before the sale completes.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
