About Okean 80
Two crew looking after eight guests is a tight ratio for a 24-metre sports yacht, and it says Okean 80 was built to be easy to run rather than heavy to staff. Okean delivered her in 2020, with open decks that fold flat rather than break into separate zones, a single idea carried through the whole boat.
Build and provenance
Paolo Ferragni designed Okean 80's open-concept layout, in which every deck door retracts to join the interior and the stern into one continuous space rather than keeping them apart. She is a monohull sports yacht, built by Okean in 2020, and the whole design brief runs through her build: clean lines outside and wide, uninterrupted spaces within.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across four cabins, and a crew of two keep the boat running, a ratio that puts service on a sports yacht rather than making guests self-sufficient. The open-plan design carries into the interior as well as the decks, with wide, welcoming spaces designed for easy movement between them.
Performance and engineering
Two MAN V12 engines, each producing 1,650 horsepower, give Okean 80 a 25-knot top speed and a 20-knot cruise. At 75 gross tonnes with a 7.9-metre beam and a 1.9-metre draught, she carries real volume on deck without needing deep water to reach an anchorage.
On deck and at anchor
At anchor, the stern's submersible sliding platform lowers to turn the beach club into a swim step at whatever depth suits the moment, from a shallow step to full submersion. The bulwark decks fold out to widen the side decks at anchor and fold back for passages, adding usable space exactly when it is wanted and taking it away when it is not needed underway.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
