Audace 80 Ice Motor Yacht
About Audace 80 Ice
Nine knots is a deliberate cruising speed, not a limitation: it is what a displacement hull is built to do well. Mostes is building the Audace 80 Ice, due in 2026, around that number rather than around a hunt for maximum speed.
Build and provenance
She is a monohull built in steel, a material choice suited to a displacement hull, and Mostes is building her new for delivery in 2026. There is no refit history to weigh here and no prior ownership: the build itself is the story so far.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests are arranged across five cabins aboard Audace 80 Ice, spread over her 26-metre length in a layout built around a displacement hull's proportions rather than a planing hull's need for a flat run aft.
Performance and engineering
The numbers describe the hull type precisely: a 9-knot cruise and a 13.5-knot top speed are what a displacement design trades for a steadier ride rather than outright pace. At 84 feet and 26 metres, Audace 80 Ice is built to cover water steadily rather than sprint between anchorages.
Where she lies and how to see her
Audace 80 Ice is being built for a berth in Genoa, Italy, and Boatcrowd will arrange viewings there as she nears completion, attending in person with any buyer who wants to see her. Once an offer is accepted, survey and sea trial follow before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
