Build and provenance
She has a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure and is being built to RINA class, the classification society's own construction standard for a yacht meant for open water rather than coastal runs. This hull is one of the yard's full-custom builds rather than a production run.

Isy 150 Explora's fourteen guests sleep across six cabins, with a crew of eight in their own quarters. The owner's suite is set apart from the guest cabins as its own retreat, and the remaining cabins are arranged for flexibility, for family groups or parties of friends rather than one fixed pattern.
Performance and engineering
Twin Caterpillar engines meet IMO Tier III emissions rules, and she cruises at 10 knots, a pace built for range rather than speed, in keeping with her explorer style. Zero-speed and underway fin stabilisers keep her steady both at anchor and on passage, and twin tenders, one lifted by a crane and the other by a davit, cover shore trips and toys.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
